Services

Virtual Clinical Supervision
$150.00

I am approved by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) to provide clinical supervision for Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) candidates. I meet all supervision requirements, including maintaining an active clinical license, post-licensure experience, and formal training in clinical supervision. My background spans hospitals, schools, and private practice, allowing me to support clinicians working in a variety of settings.

I believe the supervisory relationship is the foundation for meaningful professional growth. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in curiosity rather than perfection. Together, we'll build your clinical confidence, strengthen your skills, and help you develop an authentic therapeutic style that aligns with your values while providing ethical, compassionate care.

Whether you're navigating challenging cases, building your clinical identity, or preparing for licensure, my goal is to create a space where you feel supported, challenged, and encouraged throughout your professional journey.

Individual Virtual Therapy
$125.00

Individual virtual therapy for children, teens, and young adults (ages 10+ -young adult).

Parent/Family Consultations
$125.00

I provide consultations for parents, caregivers, family members, and other supportive adults who are helping children, teens, and young adults navigate grief, chronic illness, or significant life challenges. These sessions are designed to help you feel more confident, informed, and supported as you care for your loved one. Together, we may discuss developmentally appropriate ways to talk about difficult topics, practical strategies for providing support, and resources tailored to your family's unique needs. Consultations are typically 60 minutes.

I also offer consultations for therapists, educators, and other professionals seeking guidance in supporting grieving children, adolescents, and young adults or those living with chronic or complex medical conditions. These collaborative sessions provide a space to explore cases, strengthen clinical understanding, and build confidence in working with this population.

Meet Emily

Hi, I'm Emily Lahoda, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults. I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University in April 2023.

Before becoming a therapist in private practice, I spent many years as a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS), helping children and families navigate hospitalization, chronic illness, grief, and other life-changing experiences. I have also worked as a school-based therapist, supporting students as they managed emotional, social, and academic challenges within the school setting.

Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, and easy to connect with. I believe that feeling safe, understood, and accepted is the foundation of meaningful therapy. My goal is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship where you or your child can feel comfortable being yourselves while working through life's challenges and moving toward healing.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in attachment theory and integrates play therapy, mindfulness, and developmentally appropriate interventions tailored to each client's unique strengths and needs. I strive to create a compassionate, supportive environment where children, adolescents, and young adults can process difficult experiences, strengthen resilience, build healthy relationships, and develop the confidence to thrive.
